Poster Size Requirements
Posters must be on or mounted on poster board, any size between the minimum dimentions of 16” x 24”, and executed in any 2-dimensional medium (oil, acrylic, markers, collages, photography, etc.)
Note: Posters may be created digitally, but must be printed to the required size for submission.
Artwork must be labeled on the back with the title of the poster, name of the student, their age, their school or organization, the name of their art teacher or principal, hometown, personal telephone number or that of their parent, and email address. Posters submitted without all the required information will not be eligible for the contest.
Posters must be delivered to RileyStreet Art Supply, 1138 4th Street in San Rafael, beginning on Tuesday, May 1st at 10:00am, with the final deadline for submission on Thursday, May 31 at 5:00pm.
Ownership of Artwork
Ownership of the artwork submitted for the contest will remain with the artist. However, producer reserves the right to reproduce and publish any and all artwork submitted for this contest, and publish the artist’s name, for promotional and marketing use.
Posters may be picked up following the announcement of the contest results at RileyStreet Art Supply in San Rafael, except for the winning entries, finalists and special award winners, which will be kept for a period of time for public display at a series of Youth Poster Contest Exhibitions around the Bay Area, and then be be returned to the entrants.
